Robin Kranitzky and Kim Overstreet: A serendipitous encounter

I happened to stumble upon the artists
Robin Kranitzky and Kim Overstreet's website the other week.

I was completely charmed and awed by their collaborative works.

Their beautiful pieces are completely magical
and filled with elaborate and unexpected details.

At first I thought they were large sculptural pieces

but then I discovered that they were tiny brooches.

Can you believe it?
All of that detailed work in such small pieces
of gorgeous art to wear!

So, after I explored their site, I saved their link
and thought that I'd return  to buy their book at some point.

Well, a day or two later I went to downtown Charlottesville
to buy a few things
and I landed in a beautiful shop called  Roxie Daisy
I was getting lost in all of the lovliness
and taking in their beautiful wares
when suddenly I rounded a corner and noticed
on a shelf,
showcased all by itself,
sat the Symbiotic Realms book by Robin and Kim.
 I couldn't believe my eyes!
I thought that it couldn't be the same artists that I had just seen on-line
but it was!!!
And guess what?
Their book is amazing.
You see, I was looking at their site,
wishing that I could peek in their book in person
and then it just showed up in an interesting serendipitous way.

So,I just had to share this story and their lovely creations with all of you.

Below you will find the image of their beautiful book.
If you click the image it will take you to their website
and you can purchase a copy of your own.

Ta ta friends. ;)
