The way I see it, babies are 100% determined to learn to walk and see the world. Nothing deters a baby from getting up and trying to walk. They start off very unstable, wobbly and shakey. They fall, trip, stumble and bump themselves time after time and yet they keep trying, over and over and over again in order to accomplish this goal. I love to see their determination. I wonder if they realize that the ability to walk will gain them freedom and independance? I also wonder what happens to us as we grow? It seems as though many people loose that enthusiasm to try something new or difficult. The ability to walk will open the door to greater adventures and nothing can stop a baby from trying to accomplish this seemingly unsurmountable task. Isn't it interesting that we all, with no prior experience, very little coordination and hardly any muscle tone were also able to learn how to walk. So, shouldn't we be able to accomplish anything that we put our minds to? We all share this amazing experience from our babyhood to remind us and to carry us through life (literally and figuratively!)
So, start walking!!
