The Beat of My Art shop

I just opened my new art shop/studio today July 23rd. Here are some shots of the place in it's just born phase. I will post the before shots in the next couple of days.
Top photo is of the the signs I painted and a wonderful friend and amazing sign painter Liza Hopkins lettered for me.
Next is a photo of the door to my shop. A giant old picture frame project was cut and added on to in order to create a whimsical new door frame. I painted and distressed the door in my signature raspberry color.
The next three photos are images of the shop from various locations and the last image is a shot of my new floor. We put down a new subfloor that I painted in a cream color than stenciled in a fresh paisley pattern.
So now you know why I haven't been posting much the past few months.
Thanks for visiting my blog. Hope you enjoy the images.
